The Get More Online Review template is great for collecting customer satisfaction data, receiving feedback on negative experiences, and driving your most satisfied customers to write reviews on an online review site of your choosing.


The template allows you send a link to an online review site when your customers meet both of the following conditions:


Condition 1: They rate your business as Very Satisfied (5 out of 5) on the Satisfaction Rating Question Type.

Condition 2: They give you permission to email them a link to an online review website.



How to Prepare the Get More Online Reviews Template for Data Collection


1. Create a Survey by Using a Template, and choose the Get More Online Reviews template in the Feedback section.


2. Click on the Edit Question button for Question 11 (the last email address question of the survey).



3. Replace the Sender Email Address with your own email address. This will show up in the "From" field when this email is received by your respondents.



4. In the message body highlight the "Click on this link" text.



5. Click on the Link button.



6. Identify the website URL for the review site to which you would like to direct your respondents.

7. Paste the link from your online review listing into the URL field. (The link you retrieved in Step 6.)



8. Click the OK button.



9. Replace the signature placeholder text with your own email signature.



10. Delete the guidance text, which is at the top of the email, highlighted in red. 



11. Click the Save button.



12. To test your email-review-link click on Show Details for question 11 (the last email address question of the survey).



13. Click View Email Message.



14. This will show you a preview of the email which will be sent your respondents. Click on the link you have included to make sure it will send respondents to the correct page.

 

15. If desired, customize the survey.


16. If desired, set up notifications.


Tip: You can create a notification for negative respondents by creating a notification based on the Satisfaction Rating Question (Question 2) so that your team can follow up quickly with customers who've had a less than stellar experience.  


17. Test the survey on your device


18. Once you are satisfied with the survey, click the Publish button.



19. Tap Send/Receive on the QuickTapSurvey Mobile app to download the published version of the survey.



20. Test the Auto-Reply email to ensure it functions as expected. If not, you can Unpublish your survey to continue editing.


21. Once the survey functions as you desire start collecting responses!



How to Copy Your TripAdvisor New Review Link


1. Navigate to the TripAdvisor homepage.

2. In the search bar at the top of the screen, search for your business name.



3. Navigate to your business's page.


4. Scroll down the page and click the Write a Review button.



5. Copy this page's link from your browser's address bar.


Now you have the link directly to the Write a Review page on your business' TripAdvisor page.



How to Copy Your Yelp New Review Link


1. Navigate to the Yelp homepage.

2. In the search bar at the top of the screen, enter your business name, your location and click the Search button.



3. Locate your Business in the list, and click the Business Name.



4. Click the Write a Review button.



5. Copy this page's link from your browser's address bar.



Now you have the link directly to the Write a Review page on your business' Yelp page.
